In late 2013, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung decided to engage in the EU’s Eastern Policy debate, by starting a project named “A Progressive Eastern Policy for the European Union.” The first step in this process was to launch the scenario project “The EU and the East in 2030." Join the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Carleton University's Centre for European Studies as well as the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies for an engaging roundtable discussion on the future of the EU and the East.
