Old and new global security threats are increasing in our multipolar world. The fear of nuclear proliferation, political and societal transformations in the Middle East, China’s growing military power, cyber-warfare, energy-security, and climate change compete for attention and resources with unsolved issues from the Cold War era. While we recognize the importance of deterrence in an uncertain world, the continued dialogue to safeguard and ultimately eliminate nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and material must be a high priority across the international policy agenda. To foster the ongoing efforts for these global security issues, we engage transatlantic and international lawmakers and experts in a Trialoge setting, that provides in-depth analyses and policy recommendations.
